Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers women's tennis team lost their final home match of 2008, at the hands of Davidson, 7-0 at the Phillips Tennis Complex. It was the final home match for senior Yana Stoeva, who could not compete.
Candace Cunningham took her first set at number-three singles, but could not hold on for the point. Both doubles pairs were able to compete, but Davidson won the doubles point in close sets.
Charlotte will await seeding for the upcoming Atlantic 10 tournament next weekend. Charlotte will begin play in Monroeville, Pa. on April 18.
