5/10/2008 - Winning their fourth consecutive title and NCAA Tournament automatic bid, the top-seeded Massachusetts Minutewomen (39-11) shutout the Charlotte 49ers (35-30) 3-0 Saturday afternoon in the final day of action at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Softball Championship at Charlotte's Phillips Softball Complex. 5/9/2008 - Despite a trading two runs in the eighth inning, the third-seeded Charlotte 49ers (34-30) fell to top seed No. 20 Massachusetts (38-11) 5-4 in nine innings Friday afternoon in day three of Atlantic 10 Tournament action at the D.L. Phillips Softball Complex. Charlotte stayed in the running with the Minutewomen through the bottom of the ninth when Massachusetts scored on an RBI single to centerfield. Read Full Release

5/8/2008 - Behind a shutout by sophomore Emily Jeffery and a four-run first inning, the third-seeded Charlotte 49ers (34-29) upset second seeded St. Bonaventure 4-0 on the second day of the 2008 Atlantic 10 Softball Tournament Thursday at the D.L.
