Charlotte Prep and Providence College Standout Kendria Holmes Joins The 49ers Women's Hoops Program
5/12/2008 - Charlotte 49ers women's basketball coach Karen Aston has announced that former Charlotte prep standout point guard Kendria Holmes (Charlotte, NC/Victory Christian) will transfer into the 49ers program from Providence College. Holmes, who earned Big East Conference All-Freshman team honors in 2007, led the Friars in scoring as a sophomore last year averaging 11.3 points while dishing out 117 assists. Read Full Release
Gregory and Floyd Receive Team Awards At 49ers All Sports Banquets
4/29/2008 - Charlotte 49ers women's basketball senior guard Sabrina Gregory and sophomore forward Erin Floyd received awards at the 49ers athletic department's all-sports banquet, Sunday, April 27. Gregory was named team MVP for the second straight season. While Floyd received the team's Gold Nugget Award, which is given to the player that exhibits the most dedication and determination to the 49ers women's basketball program. Read Full Release
