Charlotte, NC - The Charlotte 49ers men's and women's soccer teams will honor Youth Soccer Month as part of two home contests during the month of September. The featured matches will be on Saturday, September 15 as the men play host to local rival Davidson at 7 p.m., and when the women open up their Atlantic 10 Conference schedule at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 30. Both contests will be held at Charlotte's Transamerica Field.
Prior to the men's game on Sept. 15, the 49er women's and men's soccer teams will host a free 49er Youth Soccer Clinic on the auxiliary fields at 5:30 p.m. After the clinic kids can head on over to the end zone at Transamerica Field to get the autographs of 49er women's and men's players or be entertained with exciting inflatable activities. Youth participating in the clinic will receive free admission to the men's game against Davidson and the following day for the women's contest against Clemson in the Carolina Cup.
For more information or to sign up for the youth clinic, please contact Tekeisha Bowman at 704.687.6203 or by email: tbowman2@uncc.edu.
