49ers Golf Ranked 3rd in Golf World Coaches' Poll

Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers are ranked third in the nation in the latest Golf World Coaches' poll. Charlotte is also ranked third by Golfweek and fourth by Golfstat.
In six stroke-play events, this year, Charlotte has won four tournament titles and added a runner-up finish. Charlotte placed second at the elite Southern Highlands Championship, last week. That event included six of the nation's top eight teams. Charlotte will play at the US Collegiate Championships, Mar. 24-26, in Apharetta, Ga. That event includes each of the nation's top eight teams.
Charlotte's Jonas Enander Hedin, who placed tied for first at Southern Highlands, was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, this past week. Fellow senior Trevor Murphy, who placed ninth, individually at the John Hayt Invitational to open the spring season, was also named A-10 Player of the Week, this spring.
