Complete Results

Washington, D.C. - Tallying her fourth consecutive individual title of the season, junior Aja Jackson paced the Charlotte women's cross country team to its fourth consecutive team title Saturday morning at the George Mason Invitational. Sophomore Chase Eckard led the men's team, whose complete results are currently unavailable.

Jackson, clocking in at 21:54.01 for the 6K course, anchored a top seven rounded out by freshman Amanda Goetschius (22:12.97; 4th overall), freshman Keara Thomas (22:29.01; 6th overall), freshman Laura McCary (23:13.37; 13th overall), sophomore Justine Thompson (23:21.38; 17th overall), freshman Kelsey Conroy (22:35.11; 21st overall) and junior Liana Blue (23:28.19; 23rd overall). Not only does the title mark the fourth-consecutive team win for the 49ers, it also marks the fourth-consecutive time Jackson, Goetschius and Thomas have taken the top three spots, respectively, for Charlotte.

Charlotte, with a combined team score of 76, bested Maryland (124), George Washington (126), American (135), University at Albany (178), UNC Wilmington (179), Campbell (214) and George Mason (294), who combined for a field of 81 runners.

Charlotte returns to action Oct. 13 at the Furman Invitational in Greenville, S.C.
