2006: Finished eighth in the 3K at the Charlotte Relay with a time of 11:59...Competed in the Atlantic 10 Championships, Winthrop Fall Invitational, George Mason Invitational and Winthrop 5K
Prep: Thompson ran for a top five team in the Southeast Region, according to the Nike Team Nationals Poll. Thompson placed 12th at the Western North Carolina Cross Country meet and placed fourth on the team. She continued to contribute as the team went on to win the NC 2A State Championship.
