Kevin Campbell is entering her fifth season with the Charlotte 49ers. During her time with the Niners, she has been thoroughly involved in all aspects of the program.
"Kevin has been and will continue to be an incredible asset to our program," head coach Lisa Marston said. "Her passion for the game is unparalleled. She came to us with terrific experience and throughout the past four seasons, she has taken on more and more responsibilities. She is an amazing coach, who cares about our players and the whole 49er family."
Campbell is active in the volleyball community on a local level with Charlotte area camps, clinics and clubs. Nationally, she has worked with the USA Volleyball program and served on the assistant coaches committee for the AVCA.
"I'm very excited about this season," Campbell said. "With talented newcomers added to the roster and seasoned leaders and point scorers back, it will be a successful and exciting year."
Campbell played at Nebraska-Omaha, where she earned all-region, All-North Central Conference and all-academic honors. She graduated cum laude in 1995 with a degree in history.
Campbell has extensive club coaching experience that began during her time at UNO. She has coached with River City Juniors, directed and coached with Carolina Juniors, and founded Charlotte Elite, which she has directed and coached.
Prior to her years at Charlotte, Campbell coached at Winthrop and Ohio.
